ordinary blood (Danny Jay)

Fever dreams, and incomplete thoughts manifest themselves in the noises of ordinary blood (Danny Jay), as they do in our dreams or trance states. The whole reveals a disintegration of ideas, offering room for interpretation. Using tape loops, and guitar, ordinary blood encourages the listener to create their own truth from the imagery - pushing the listener to “feel,” rather than “understand” the sounds. Most recently, ordinary blood opened for artists Marcia Basset and Samara Lubelski at The Radius Gallery (CA), curated by Indexical. Jay's set has also been featured on Idexical's 2019 compilation album.
